Beaconsfield Rugby Club

Henley Hawks
We are sponsors of Henley Hawks Rugby Club, which is the leading rugby club based in the Thames Valley. Henley RFC was founded in 1930 as Old Henleiensians (old boys of Henley Grammar School). After a break during the war it was re-founded in 1954 and changed it's name to Henley RFC in 1963.

Waru the Orangutan
We recently adopted an orangutan who came from the village of Waru, where he got his name. Waru is close to the palm oil plantations development and deforestation in Indonesia. Orangutans are within 20 years of extinction in the wild and are killed daily in palm oil plantations, thankfully Waru is now safe!
